Marketplace 28 offers nearly 200,000 square feet of space at the base of 28 Liberty, a two-million-square-foot SOM-designed office tower with a 2.5 acre landmarked plaza. The retail destination boasts direct access to six subway lines and is only a five-minute walk from the Fulton Street transit hub and the World Trade Center transit hub, connecting it to nearly every mass transit line in the city. Marketplace 28 is positioned at street level with direct site lines to foot traffic and easy access to lower levels. It connects to the 28 Liberty Plaza, an open space that is regularly programmed with arts and cultural events and that has become a destination for neighborhood residents and workers alike.  At the top of 28 Liberty are Manhatta and The Bay Room, a celebrated new restaurant and venue by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group. Alamo Draft House is among the first tenants to commit to Marketplace 28.

Fosun Hive Holdings' 28 Liberty is a 60-story, 2.2 million-square-foot Class A office tower located at the center of Lower Manhattan. The property features superior office space, dynamic new retail, a celebrated Union Square Hospitality Group restaurant and venue with breathtaking 360-degree views, and a 2.5 acre plaza programmed with exciting cultural and community events. The building has recently experienced a comprehensive repositioning, including elevator and mechanical upgrades, plaza improvements, and the creation of Marketplace 28, a 200,000-square-foot multi-story retail destination. Located in the heart of the Wall Street Financial District, the building has a direct connection to six subway lines, and is only a short walk from the Fulton Street and World Trade Center transit hubs. Originally One Chase Manhattan Plaza, 28 Liberty was designed by renowned architect Gordon Bunshaft, and was once the headquarters of Chase Manhattan Bank. Given its historical significance, architectural uniqueness and public impact, the building’s plaza was designated as a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2009.

Fosun Hive Holdings', in partnership with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, recently opened Manhatta, a 90-seat restaurant, and Bay Room, a full-service event space that can accommodate up to 70 guests, on the 60th floor of the 28 Liberty. The venues encompass 38,000-square-feet and offer stunning exposures on all four facades of the historic building, spanning north to Midtown, west and south to the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty, and east to Brooklyn’s famous bridges and waterways. Bay Room wraps around two sides of the building, making it one of the largest and highest ballrooms in the city. The space, which features direct access through a dedicated ground-floor entry lobby on Liberty Street, is designed by Woods Bagot to celebrate the cultural and industrial history of the neighborhood, while echoing the midcentury modern sensibilities of the building. Manhatta and Bay Room present more than 100 pieces of art presented in a gallery-like setting. The rotating collection showcases a mix of works ranging from emerging local talent to established international artists.
